Piggy's Big Day Out

Piggy with Uncle Jeff Gaunt
Piggy was getting bored standing outside the butchers shop all
day, oh how he longed for adventure. He started to wander off when ever his
owner, Jeff Gaunt, turned his back. Uncle Jeff was so concerned he had to tie
Piggy up to stop him running away.
One day close to Christmas, Uncle Jeff was so busy counting his turkeys he completely forgot about Piggy. Naughty Piggy saw that Jeff was not watching and slipped his leash. He ran as fast as his little trotters would carry him toward the big city.

Presently Piggy hitched a lift from a passing car. And in an instant he was off.

Piggy was dropped off at a roundabout where he stopped for some lunch. He burrowed his snout in the grass and had a mighty feast. Yum...Yumm

When he was full he trotted off to Halfway to catch the tram to Drakehouse. What a lovely day Piggy was having.
"Hello Piggy" said the cheerful tram driver.
"Hello cheerful tram driver" grunted Piggy.
And with that the tram sped off toward the Drakehouse Shopping Centre. Piggy waved goodbye to the cheerful tram driver and ran towards McDonalds as he was hoping to see a few old friends.

By this time uncle Jeff had realised Piggy had gone. Poor uncle Jeff was so sad and really missed Piggy. He was so upset he couldn't even count his money. "Where, oh where, has my little piggy gone?"
Jeff thought that Piggy may have been pignapped and held to ransom.
