I recently visited the splendid motor racing museum owned by Mr. Tom Wheatcroft at the Donington Collection, Donington Park. I used to watch the races at the Donington Park race circuit most weekends but I haven't attended for many years and it was nice to go back and revisit the collection.

The Donington Collection has grown considerably since my last visit and now houses many exhibits featuring modern Formula One cars, particularly Williams and McClaren, as well as cars from all eras of the sport.

Outside the main museum is a memorial to the much missed Fangio and Ayrton Senna, the latter I have watched many times at Donington during his Formula Ford and Formula Three days.

There is a whole section devoted to Williams F1 cars.

The Donington Collection is a must for all Formula One fans and is one of the finest examples of its kind.
